The War of 1812 Battle of Caulk’s Field Bicentennial Re-enactment is the culmination of two years of War of 1812 commemorative events and takes place on the actual day of the battle on the battlefield on which the decisive battle was fought, which has remained virtually untouched since the time of the battle. The event will involve both American and British dignitaries, re-enactors, and ceremonies honoring the fallen. The event is period themed and will feature living history, demonstrations, exhibitors, live music and food, culminating with a very special War of 1812 re-enactment! Between 5,000 and 10,000 people are expected to attend.
Set up will be available both Saturday, August 30 between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sunday before the event between 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. You will be directed to pull up to your spot, unload and move your vehicle.
