Public Hearings - CHR 1-2011 Public Works Hearing

A public hearing was held today at 7:00 p.m. in the County Commissioners’ Hearing Room, County Government Center, Chestertown, Maryland, for the purpose of specifying the
duties and responsibilities of the Public Works Director, and generally relating to the Kent County Department of Public Works by adding Chapter 48, Public Works, of the Code of Public Local Laws, and amending Chapter 161, Waters and Sewers, of the Code of Public Local Laws, and Chapter 136, Sewage Disposal Facilities, of the Code of Public Local Laws,

County Commissioners, Ronald Fithian, William Pickrum, and Alexander Rasin were in attendance as well as Susanne Hayman, County Administrator, Thomas Yeager, County Attorney, and Wayne Morris, Public Works Director.

Commissioner Fithian read the Notice of Public Hearing into the record.

There were no comments or questions received from the audience. Written comments will be received in the Commissioners’ Office until noon, Friday, April 29, 2011.
