Sam Clemens & the Real Mark Twain

Originally inspired by Hal Holbrookís TV portrayal of Mark Twain, actor Cliff Jewell became fascinated by Samuel Langhorne Clemens, the colorful man who was Twain, creating this one man theatre piece focusing on events from Clemens life - his childhood on the Mississippi, his adventures out West and his courtship and marriage to Olivia Langdon - the episodes that form the basis for Twain's unique literary voice and vision.

Music Sail with the Lions of Bluegrass- Departing and returning from Sultana's home port of historic Chestertown (and occasionally other ports around the Chesapeake), Sultana's two-hour public sails are a great way to sail the Chester River onboard a traditional schooner. Passengers are encouraged to help raise the sails, steer using Sultana's seven-foot long tiller and explore the authentically reproduced crew's quarters below-decks.
$30 Adult /$15 under 12, no children under 5.

A free outdoor concert. Country roots rock with a Caribbean flair. Mike Aiken, who lives on his boat in Norfolk, VA when he's not touring, writes songs of life, love and wanderlust with a breezy tropical feel. Outdoors on the Mainstay's back deck. Bring a comfortable chair. In case of rain or extreme heat, the concert will move indoors to the air-conditioned Mainstay.
