The Live Playwrights' Society for Play Writers, Readers, Observers & Critics aims to foster a community of playwrights, actors and critics. This group meets the first Monday of every month at 7:30pm and is open to all ages. (Free!) New plays are read and critiqued each month!
A traditional county fair, the Kent County Fair celebrates 32 years at the Kent Ag Center, a former US Army Nike facility, in 2014. Every year there are new events along with attractions fair goers have come to expect - great food, 4-H animal and project exhibits, farm exhibits, entertainment, 4-H auctions, vendors and so much more! A great family event right in your own backyard!
The most traditional sailboat racing on the Chesapeake Bay. Some of these boats are almost 100 years old. Originally working skiffs, converted to sail to "beat the other guy" to market they have been restored and converted to racing machines.
