  • Set in Maine at the end of the 19th C, swaggering carnival barker,Billy Bigelow, captivates and marries naive millworker, Julie Jordan. Losing his job just as he finds out he's to become a father, he becomes part of a robbery. Facing jail, he takes his own life,and finds himself "up there". He returns to earth to help save his teen-age lonely daughter by instilling dignity and hope, a testament to the power of love.

  • Located on over 300 acres on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, Camp Tockwogh is a co-ed resident camp for children and youths with summer programs to serve grades K-9 and leadership programs for high school students.   • The Chestertown Lions Club welcomes cyclists to this summer's bicycling challenge, the Bay to Bay ride. The tour consists of four routes between 27 and 104 miles in length. The flat loop routes take in scenery of the heartland of the Upper Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. The 27 mile ride goes through historic Downtown Chestertown for those who want a less challenging ride. Registration starts at 6:30am and ride begins at 7am.   • The Wheelmen is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to keeping alive the heritage of American cycling, promoting the restoration and riding of early cycles manufactured prior to 1918, and encouraging cycling as part of modern living. This organization follows bicycle development with such types as the Draissine, Velocipede, Boneshaker, Ordinary (also known as a High Wheeler or Penny Farthing), Tricycle, High Wheel Safety, Hard Tired Safety, Cushion Tire Safety and Pneumatic Safety (including Tandems and Chainless models).
