Annual Sassafras Boat Parade and Fireworks

The fireworks have been moved further up the river to improve
the view from the bridge and all of the marinas.

Boats
of all sizes, power or sail,
parade on the Sassafras River.
No entry fee.
Decorated boats and Classic
boats of all sizes compete for prizes
in 6 categories.

Fireworks
can be seen by boat or from the
banks and piers of the Georgetown Marinas.
The fireworks committee is accepting
donations

Registration
forms are available at marinas, restaurants, shops, and the Post
Office in the Galena area.
