KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND
PLANNING AND ZONING

Fairlee and Georgetown

Village Master Plan

The Kent County Department of Planning, Housing and Zoning invites you to participate in review of the Fairlee and Georgetown Village Master Plan.

The Fairlee and Georgtown Village Master Plan is being developed to guide future growth and development in Fairlee and Georgetown , and to address land use, housing, open space, transportation, and community facilities needs.   Public participation has been an integral part of the planning process for the project.  Public workshops were held to identify and discuss community values and alternative futures.

The draft Plan is now being reviewed by various State agencies as prescribed in Article 66B of the Annotated Code of Maryland. Following State review, the Planning Commission will hold a hearing and forward a recommendation to the County Commissioners, who will make the final decision on adopting the Plan as an amendment to the County's Comprehensive Plan.

If you have questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact Amy Moredock at 410-778-7475, or by email at amoredock@kentgov.org.

The plan is in our office to review or purchase and can be downloaded as a .pdf document using the link below.
