In 1999, the Chesapeake Country Scenic Byway Alliance hired a team
of consultants to prepare a Corridor Management Plan (CMP) for the
Chesapeake Country Scenic Byway. A CMP is required as part of the
application for designation as a National Scenic Byway. The federal
government has established guidelines for the contents of a CMP
that requires the Byway to inventory its resources and prepare a
plan for managing those resources.
The Chesapeake Country CMP has been divided into chapters to speed
download times. All are in adode .pdf format and require the Adobe
Acrobat reader to view.
