What Does It Do?

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is a committee organized to review and comment on subdivision and other development proposals. Members review proposals for consistency with the requirements of county ordinances and regulations or other applicable laws, regulations or standards. TAC meetings are open to the public but participation in discussions is limited to committee members and applicants only.

Who Are Its Members and When Does It  Meet?

The Technical Advisory Committee consists of the following persons or their designated representatives: Planning Director, Director of Environmental Programs, State Highway Administration Maintenance Engineer, County Roads Engineer, Kent County Soil and Water Conservation District, Maryland Forest Service, Director of Water and Wastewater Services, and representatives of other agencies concerned with development or subdivision review.

Listed below are scheduled meeting dates for TAC through June 2007. In order to be placed on the agenda, please submit the application (signed by the property owner), plat, and fee by 4:30 P.M., on the submittal date. Please note that the submittal date is the Thursday prior to the TAC meeting, unless otherwise stated.
