The Upper Shore Region, consisting of Cecil Kent and Queen Annes's counties is the home to over 1200 farms that are preserving our land and the rural character of the our region. These farms encompass more than 350,000 acres and produce sales of over $202 million. The Upper Shore Regional Council encourages you to help in our efforts to sustain this valuable industry that is maintaining our quality of life on the Eastern Shore of Maryland by buying agricultural products and services locally. By doing so, you will not only assist in preserving our landscape, but be rewarded with the taste of freshly picked produce and quality service provided by your friends and neighbors
