Long Cove Marina is located, surprise, on Long Cove which is located on the western side of Langford Creek just above the mouth of the creek. The location is an excellent compromise between being out on the Bay, where rough weather can influence boating, and the other extreme of being too far up a tributary. Even with high winds on the Bay it is often quite pleasant on the Chester River between Long Cove and Kent Narrows. Through Kent Narrows, it is a short trip to the Miles River or for going south on the Bay. Going across the Bay, the location does add a couple of miles to your trip. If your destination is north, the add on is about six miles. The location represents a good compromise in many respects.

Long Cove Marina is well protected. It offers slips for seasonal rental and we welcome transient boaters from all over the Bay. The marina is strong on service, having both THIRTY TON and SEVENTY TON travel lifts. There are facilities for extensive boat and engine repairs as well as fiberglass and aluminum boat building. Of considerable interest to boaters is the fact that we operate the thirty-five foot rescue and tow craft "Popeye." As would be expected with the lift capabilities, we provide extensive on-land winter storage.

Marina amenities are many. Deepwater slips accommodate sailing and power vessels with safe secure finger piers that have individual water and electric hook ups. There are clean well-maintained head and shower facilities. The marina office and ships store feature a complete selection of boat hardware, marine paints, and accessories for the do-it-yourselfer. Also on our premises is the Prop Shop, which is a professional service for the repair and reconditioning of props, shafts, and installation of related underwater hardware. The setting on Long Cove is a tranquil and relaxed, back-to-nature location, that will make your stay with us, whether for a few days or many seasons, a truly delightful boating experience.
