Public Notices - CHR 7-2011 Solid Waste Management Plan Notice

The County Commissioners of Kent County will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at 6:45 p.m. in the County Commissioners’ Hearing Room, County Government Center, 400 High Street, Chestertown, MD, for the purpose of discussing the proposed revisions to the Kent County Solid Waste Management Plan.

The purpose of the hearing is to review the draft Solid Waste Management Plan: This 10-year plan is required pursuant to the Code of Maryland Regulations Title 26, Subtitle 03, Chapter 03 entitled, “Development of County Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan.”

The proposed Solid Waste Management Plan is available for public review at the following locations: Department of Public Works Office, 709 Morgnec Road, Chestertown; County Commissioners’ Office; County Government Center, 400 High Street, Chestertown, and Kent County Public Library, 408 High Street, Chestertown.
