Sailing Classes in Kent County

Sailing classes and instruction are available in Kent County through several venues ranging from private instruction to youth sailing classes. Check out the links below to find the sailing class that is right for you.

• Chester River Yacht and Country Club – Summer Sailing Camp offering youth sailing instruction. Open to members and non members.
• Georgetown Yacht Basin – MD Sailing Lessons on the Sassafras River. Week-long full day group sessions in the summer for ages 7-17. Private lessons and adult lessons also available.
• Maryland School of Sailing – Offers a full range of courses from Basic Sailing through Ocean Training Cruises on Island Packet yachts.
• Rock Hall Yacht Club Sailing School – Offers Learn-to-Sail to Advanced sailing programs for ages 5 to adult. Open to members and non members.
