The High and Wides return to Chestertown with Baltimore bluegrass band Geraldine for a First Friday concert at the Garfield Center for the Arts. So come down to the GCA for a night of Bluegrass.
Seating starts at 7:30 and the show will get going at 8.

The class will be held over two weekends at the Clay Studio on Saturday March 2 & March 16 at 10:00am-2:00pm with a short break for lunch.
This is a class intended for experienced potters who need help learning to use company glazes. We will mainly be covering Amaco and Mayco glazes but other companies will be included. I recommend you bring a notebook, a small bisque piece, and brushes ( if you have them). The first weekend will be focused on technique introduction, the second weekend will be viewing results and refinement.

CHARLEY’S AUNT OPENS CHURCH HILL THEATRE 2024 SEASON
Charley’s Aunt, by Brandon Thomas, one of the world’s all-time funniest and most successful plays. Directed by Charles Michael Moore, Charley’s Aunt will run from March 8 to 24th.
Charley, Jack, and Babbs are well-born Oxford University students struggling to conduct a robust social life on limited allowances. In love with way-too-well-chaperoned Amy and Kitty, Jack and Charley concoct a romantic luncheon to be supervised by Charley’s aunt visiting from Brazil. But nothing goes as planned.

Creating art together in the name of peace can be powerful, rewarding, and at the same time lots of fun. All veterans of Kent County, Maryland are invited to participate in a free,
special art event on March 9, 1:30 - 4 p.m., at Sumner Hall, Chestertown. Participants will create a personalized interpretation of
peace, using a variety of materials to contribute to a group paper quilt and then to broaden this relationship with a worldwide one as their art will be exchanged with another group making art, matched through the Global Art Project for Peace.
