KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND

The Honorable Board of License Commissioners met today with the following present: Larry B. Beck, W. Michael Newnam, and Ronald H. Fithian, presiding.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE VIOLATION
COUNTRY LIQUORS
C'TOWN LIQUORS AND DELI
GALENA MINI MART
MILLINGTON PIZZA

Mauritz Stetson, Alcoholic Beverage Inspector, forwarded a report providing status of the suspension of alcoholic beverage license for Millington Pizza, Country Liquors, Galena Mini Mart and C'Town Liquors, as a result of the June 18 Administrative Hearing. He advised that all fines were paid and the liquor licenses were confiscated for the authorized time period.

SPECIAL LICENSE

The Commissioners approved the following one day only special licenses:

A Class C Beer License for Friends of Roy Crow for a fund raising event to be held at Turners Creek Park on August 10.

A Class C Beer License for the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company to hold a fund raising event in Rock Hall on August 3.

VONNIE'S

The alcoholic beverage license for Vonnie's was turned in by Mrs. Price, licensee, due to a property transfer of the establishment. The cost of the license for FY 03 was pro-rated and a refund will be forwarded to the licensees.

There being no further business to claim their attention, the Board adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, August 6, 2002.
