KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND

The Honorable Board of License Commissioners met today with the following present: Larry B. Beck, W. Michael Newnam, and Ronald H. Fithian, presiding.

SPECIAL LICENSE

The Commissioners approved a one day only special Class C Beer Licenses:

For the Chestertown Jazz Festival to be held at Wilmer Park on September 7.

For William Gale's Campaign Committee to hold a campaign reception at Wilmer Park on September 5.

MASON'S RIBS AND CRABS

The Executive Assistant advised that the license from Mason's Ribs and Crabs was returned and reimbursement for the remainder of the license fee will be forwarded to the licensee.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE VIOLATION
HAVEN HARBOUR MAINA CLUB

In follow-up from August 20 the Alcoholic Beverage Inspector forwarded a copy of a letter of reprimand to Haven Habour Marina Club for violation of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, which prohibits a retail dealer from purchasing alcoholic beverages from other than a duly licensed manufacturer, wholesaler or private bulk sale holder.

There being no further business to claim their attention, the Board adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, September 10, 2002.
