The Honorable Board of License Commissioners met today with the following
present: Roy W. Crow, Scott D. Livie, and William W. Pickrum, presiding.
Mauritz Stetson, Alcoholic
Beverage Inspector, was also in attendance.
SUPER SODA CENTER
The Commissioners approved the change of officers as requested by Steve
W. Neukam, President, Flood Tide Corporation. The change of officers is
as follows: Steve W. Neukam - President, Carol P. Neukam - Vice-President,
Jonathan D. NeukamSecretary/Treasurer.
SPECIAL LICENSE
The Commissioners approved the following one day special Class C license:
A Beer and Wine License for Mainstay, Inc., for a music event to be held
at the Mainstay building, Rock Hall, on September 26 and 27, 2003.
VIOLATION
C-TOWN LIQUORS
The Alcoholic Beverage Inspector notified the Commissioners of an alleged
violation of the alcoholic beverage laws, Article 2B Section 13-101 (2)(i),
of the Annotated Code of Maryland as to failure to have an individual
certified in Alcohol Awareness Training present during the hours of business.
Mr. Stetson advised the Board that this alleged violation would be the
owners' first offense of this law and that they claimed that they were
not aware of the law. The Commissioners concurred to hold an administrative
hearing.
There being no further business to claim their attention, the Board adjourned
to meet again on Tuesday, September 16, 2003.
