Request for Proposals # PW 23-01 For Construction of Vehicle Storage Pole Buildings and Renovation of an Existing Pole Building

The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland, a body corporate and politic, is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to construct up to two (2) free-standing pole buildings for vehicle storage at two (2) locations within the County, as well as proposals to replace metal siding and roofing on an existing pole building located at the County Grounds Maintenance Facility at 10932 Worton Road, Worton, Maryland 21678, in accordance with Chapter 49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (CPLL). Interested bidders may obtain plans and specifications from the Director of Kent County’s Department of Public Works at 709 Morgnec Road, Chestertown, Maryland 21620 by phone (410-778-2600) or email (mmoulds@kentgov.org).

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 at the Public Works Complex, 709 Morgnec Road, Chestertown, MD, 21620.

Proposals will be received at the Department of Public Works (“Issuing Office”) at 709 Morgnec Road, Chestertown, MD 21620 until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022. Bid opening will proceed at 11:00 a.m. that same day.

Request for Proposals For Out of School Time Program - FY 2023

The KCLMB is pleased to announce funding available for state and local agencies, schools, and non-profit organizations to provide evidence-based Out-of-School Time (OST) programming to advance student engagement and increase school attendance, focusing on building students’ strengths through creative activities that bolster emotional, intellectual, and physical health. Inclusive programs must be developed to benefit low-income students and to assist students with transportation barriers. Partnerships with other agencies are encouraged.

Request for Proposals For Youth-Led Program Design Facilitation (Behavioral Health) - FY 2023

Incentivized by data that emerged on adolescent depression, hopelessness, and anxiety before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, KCLMB has prioritized behavioral health wellness among Kent County High School students in their FY2023-FY2025 Community Plan for Children, Youth, & Families.
