The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a grassroots organization that operates at a national, state, and local level. Local affiliates offer free peer support, education, and outreach programs, and engage mental health advocates in their community. 

The NAMI Kent and Queen Anne's Family Support Group meets the first and third Mondays in Centreville from 7 - 8:30 pm. The Chestertown Family Support Group will resume early in 2019.
