Acrylics: 4 Paintings in 4 Weeks

- Location: ArtsAlive! - 200 High St.
- Contact: Chestertown RiverArts
- Phone: 4107786300
- Email: info@chestertownriverarts.org
- URL: https://community.chestertownriverarts.org/program/four-paintings
-
Thursdays, March 10, 17, 24, & 31: 1-3 pm
At ArtsAlive, 200 High St in downtown Chestertown, MD (corner of High & Queen Streets, next to Clay Studio) -- or outside if the weather is nice!
Recently I completed four paintings over a weekend. I didn’t create four paintings, I just finished them. Over time my use of acrylics has changed to involve textures, layering, preparing backgrounds, different types of paint and different tools. As each stage is completed it needs to dry before moving on to the next, and sometimes the painting evolves from the original idea into something quite different.
