Ever seen “Ghost” and wondered if making pottery is really like that? Actually, the techniques used in the movie are close to how pots are made, minus the steamy caresses! This 8-week beginners class will teach you the basic steps used with the potter’s wheel and allow you to explore creativity with clay.
Each student will receive 25# of clay (std 112) and 8 open studio tickets (a $102 value) to come and practice their skills. A beginner’s tool kit is needed. You can purchase online or we will sell kits at the first night for $30.

Art is Essential. Our current crisis with Covid 19 has left many of us without a road map forward. It is my artists who are helping me find my way in this new territory. Katherine Cox reached out to share a body of her work and we determined it would provide an opportunity to create an online exhibition.
SHELTER is a moving exploration of the concept of home. Home provides not only shelter but sanctuary and safety.
