F3 Tech (Fish Farm Food) is a statewide private/public initiative focusing on economic growth in Agritech, Envirotech, and Aquatech. The overall program consists of three components that provides a pipeline through which innovators, startups, and existing businesses with new product and service ideas and innovations can achieve commercialization.
These one-day technology and innovation events held at participating universities aims to introduce students to the available sectors in Agritech, Envirotech, and Aquatech. Students are presented with real-world problems that can benefit from a new approach or innovation that could be commercialized. Serving as a feeder, it is hoped that team presentations will result in the prospect of new technology business startups that would advance throughout the F3 Tech Accelerator programs.
This virtual, 6-week pre-accelerator program allows entrepreneurs and startups in rural Maryland to participate in weekly online sessions, covering the process of commercialization. The program is designed specifically for early-stage startups to validate a product concept, acquire valuable feedback from industry experts, and position themselves for a more intensive, multi-month accelerator.
Details about the 4-month accelerator program will be developed over the coming months with announcements of our progress being shared through social media.
