KENT COUNTY, MARYLAND

The Honorable Board of License Commissioners met today with the following present: Roy W. Crow and William W. Pickrum, presiding. Commissioner Scott D. Livie was not in attendance due to personal reasons.

SPECIAL LICENSE

The Commissioners approved a one day special Class C Beer License for the Rock Hall Party on the Bay Committee to hold a Festival on August 16 at the Bulkhead in Rock Hall.

VIOLATION
ANDY'S

In response to report dated July 2 received from the Alcoholic Beverage Inspector relating to an alleged violation of the alcoholic beverage laws Article 2B Section 12-108, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, service to a person under the age of twenty-one and Article 2B Section 6-401, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, a person under the age of twenty-one in a Kent County Class "D" establishment, an administrative hearing was held at 9:45 a.m in the Commissioners Hearing Room. Susanne Hayman, County Attorney, was in attendance as well as Mauritz Stetson, Alcoholic Beverage Inspector, and a witness. The licensee, Louise Goddard did not appear. Due to the seriousness of the allegations, Commissioner Pickrum suggested the hearing be postponed until Ms. Goddard could be in attendance.

Another administrative hearing will be scheduled. Mr. Stetson reported that he will hand deliver the notice of administrative hearing to the licensee.

There being no further business to claim their attention, the Board adjourned to meet again on Tuesday August 12, 2003.
