The Honorable Board of License Commissioners met today at
1:00 p.m. with the following present: Roy W. Crow and William W. Pickrum,
presiding. Commissioner Livie was away on personal leave.
BAY CITY LODGE
Correspondence was received from Ina May Puppe Reed, resident of Rock
Hall, issuing complaint about, what she believes to be, illegal activities
that have taken place at the Elks Lodge on Lovers Lane in Rock Hall, and
requesting that these concerns be addressed during the review to the Alcoholic
Beverage renewal application.
A copy of this correspondence will be forwarded to the Alcoholic Beverage
Inspector for his review and attention.
SPECIAL LICENSE
The Commissioners approved a one day only, Class C Beer, Wine, and Liquor
License for the Chester River Hospital Center for their fund-raising activity
to take place at the Kent School in Chestertown on April 17, 2004.
There being no further business to claim their attention, the Board adjourned
to meet again on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 6:00 p.m., at the Millington
Fire Hall.
