The Honorable Board of License Commissioners met today
with the following present: Scott D. Livie and William W. Pickrum, presiding.
Commissioner Roy Crow was absent due to a previous business commitment.
Maurtiz Stetson, Alcoholic Beverage Inspector, was also in attendance.
VIOLATION
BLUE HERON CAF
Mr. Stetson reported an alleged violation of the Alcoholic Beverage Laws
(i.e. failure to have an individual certified in alcohol awareness training
on the premises during the hours in which alcohol beverages may be served
or consumed [Article 2B, Section 13-101,(2)(i)].
Mr. Stetson indicated that on August 12, at approximately 12 noon, he
entered the Blue Heron Caf to conduct a routine alcoholic beverage inspection.
He reported that, as a result, he believes that there is probable cause
that an ongoing violation of the Alcoholic Beverage Laws occurred as it
relates to not having a person properly certified on the premises or logged
out.
An administrative hearing about this alleged violation will be scheduled.
There being no further business to claim their attention, the Board adjourned
to meet again on Tuesday, August 24, 2004.
