Cemeteries in or near Chestertown

  

Chester Cemetery -Chestertown's largest cemetery, it is located on High Street, just west of the Dixon Valve Company complex. From the center of Chestertown, go west on Route 20 (High Street) toward Rock Hall. Chester Cemetery will be on your right a few hundred meters after High Street crosses the railroad tracks.

Bond Chapel Cemetery -
A small cemetery on Route 289 in Pomona. The chapel and its cemetery are located at the intersection of Route 289 (Quaker Neck Road) and Quaker Neck Landing Road about 4 miles southwest of Chestertown.


Hadaway Chapel Cemetery -The Chapel is gone, but a few graves remain. The graves are on the west side of Route 446 (Broad Neck Road) 2.4 miles south of the intersection of Route 446 and Ricaud's Branch Road.

Hynson Chapel Cemetery -This is the second of the two sites occupied by the Hynson Chapel. The chapel, dedicated in 1860, has disappeared, but 13 marked graves remain from the cemetery. It is located at the intersection of Bakers Lane and Ricaud's Branch Road.

Immanuel Methodist Church of Pomona -Located at 6698 Church Lane in Pomona. To reach the church and its associated cemetery take Route 289 southwest from Chestertown and turn left onto Church Lane as you enter Pomona.

Jane's Cemetery -Jane's Cemetery is located on the north side of Route 289 (Quaker Neck Road) .2 mile southwest of the Chester River Yacht & Country Club. It is just southwest of the pond on the western edge of the golf course.

The New Christian Chapel of Love - Located in Fountain, Maryland, about 3.5 miles north of Chestertown. To reach the chapel and its cemetery go north on Route 213 toward Galena and turn left onto Big Woods Road just before the Urieville Lake. The Chapel is .6 mile from the intersection on the right
